Cultures meet in one kitchen.
For two nights only, Chef Orlando David hosted at R21 a unique four-hands dinner with Stephanie Bonnin (New York’s La TropiKitchen). Stephanie, a Colombian-born chef, has captivated diners with her deep understanding of Colombia’s diverse culinary heritage. Trained at the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC and the Basque Culinary Center in Spain, Stephanie combines meticulous training with self-taught food ethnography, creating dishes that reflect Colombia’s rich food pathways and biodiversity. Together they created a five-course menu that blended Colombian heritage with a modern twist. It was a meeting of craft, culture and creativity.
