For one special day, Chef Orlando David invited his sister Kira and brother-in-law Chef Niek (owners of L’Église in Zwolle) into his kitchen at R21. Together, they turned cooking into a family celebration: a six-course lunch and dinner built on shared memories, mutual respect and that unspoken understanding only family brings.
In the kitchen, Orlando and Niek combined their individual styles: bold flavours, precise techniques, and a playful rhythm that kept the energy alive. In the dining room, Kira guided guests through paired wines and warm hospitality, creating an atmosphere that felt both refined and familiar.
