Where street art meets fine dining.
In collaboration with Street Art Frankey, MuseGum N8 transformed the restaurant into a playful exhibition on November 1, inspired by Frankey’s love for chewing gum: colourful, unexpected, and a little bit mischievous.
Guests experienced an evening where creativity moved from the plate to the walls. Frankey himself joined the night, sharing the stories behind his iconic gum artworks pops up on the streets. Chef Orlando David mirrored that spirit in the kitchen, serving dishes inspired by gum, which celebrated imagination as much as flavour.
But the collaboration doesn’t end there. Throughout November, Frankey’s art remained part of R21, allowing guests to dine surrounded by the pieces born from this creative exchange between two Amsterdam originals.
About R21 & Street Art Frankey
Frankey and Chef Orlando David are both born and raised Amsterdammers; two creators with the same playful view of the city that shaped them. Frankey brings humour and imagination to the streets; Orlando David does the same in his kitchen at R21, where flavours tell stories.
MuseGum N8 is where their worlds meet: street art and fine dining fused into one creative experience in the heart of their city.
