From garden to table. Literally.
On Sunday, July 12, chef Orlando David leaves his kitchen in Amsterdam for one special day.
Together with forager Edwin Flores of Casa Foresta, he brings two worlds together: fire and technique, and everything that grows in nature.
That morning, Edwin harvests what the garden and surrounding land have to offer. Orlando cooks those ingredients the very same day over open fire.
But you are not coming just for lunch.
You will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and a homemade herbal or fruit syrup, followed by an amuse and a 5-course menu with paired wines, sparkling and still water.
Between courses, you will walk through the garden with Edwin and discover the herbs, flowers, and plants that later return on your plate.
First, you see it growing. Then, you taste it.
Later, Edwin and Orlando will share the story behind the ingredients, from garden to plate.
This is more than a lunch.
It is a unique outdoor dining experience in the heart of nature, centered around fire, flavor, and storytelling.
